Here is how we do it:
DigsREX mobile truck is a fully integrated mobile production facility. DigsREX feeds an isolated split of all inputs into the truck or off stage. The tracks are recorded individually in 24bit format on our digital tapes and hard drive recording systems.
The multi-tracks can be mixed on the fly and/or archived for post production.
In addition, we also use many matrix recording scenarios; a mix of soundboard + kick + bass + vox + keys + stage mics + 4 audience mics. Depending on recording requirements, DigsREX adapts the system to capture the performance for the best possible results.
The mix is then fully mastered in real time using world class mastering gear (see equipment list). The result is an incredibly rich sounding edited Live CD. We'll send you some samples, hear the difference for yourself.
DigsREX is currently working on a secure download portal for on-line sales and mail orders. We handle all management, production, inventory, and distribution of on-line downloads and mail orders.
